Grounding & Releasing Cacao Ceremony

Cacao is a scared plant medicine gifted to us by Mother Earth. Shamanic tradition states that plants have a higher consciousness that we can reach by intentionally consuming them. Working with this medicine draws open Anahata chakra and help us to develop a deeper relationship with earth and spirit. And it assists us to acknowledge the whole universe as one.
During this ceremony, we will work with the energy of the serpent- the first direction on the medicine wheel. The serpent represents grounding, releasing, and allowing in vulnerabilities. |

We will join in cacao ritual to set intention, connect with guides, and open ourselves up to receive insight. You will be guided through some yin yoga poses to dive deep into the hips where old emotions may be stored. Through mindfulness and breathwork, we will work to release anything we no longer need. Continuing to let go, we will shift into grounding, restorative poses and a drum meditation to connect with the earth.
This ceremony is a place for space to be held for you to experience this medicine and whatever it brings- insight, peace, happiness, release, etc. As you step into the wind of the south, you will be guided by a cup of reiki infused cacao- pure cacao mixed with a mushroom blend. This blend is designed to nourish and ground. I use a high grade cacao supplier- its all sustainably sourced from small family farms around the world. Done in small batches and very intentionally created to maintain the spirit of the cacao. The ceremony takes place from 11:30am to 12:30pm, but stay until 1pm to join in community. Bring a yoga mat, and feel free to bring a journal or any sacred objects.
